I drive a Jaguar XK8 with 395hp and averaged 90mph from Jackson, Tennessee to Nashville where it expands to four lanes. I wouldn't do it again as the troopers are all along the road but that day I just happened to get lucky.

Two years ago, I drove across most of Montana one day. Mostly between 90 and 105. Speed limit was 80.
Toward the end of the day, a very friendly trooper decided to show me the cool lights on his roof and give me a piece of paper to let me know how fast I was going. Only 93.

I've made it from my house to my Sib's place way outside of B'ham in 3 hours 45 minutes (*when with the speed limit and before I-22 opened up completely*) when it should take 4:30 at the very least.
I did make it back from there one time in 3:30. My Charger was made to run and run fast (even if it's not a V8 or a Hemi.)
My mom drove it when we went out to Denver to see family for a few days. She got to drive from Topeka to Denver and set the cruise control for 79. She loved it. But I never had the heart to tell her she could have had it cruising at 95 without an issue.
