Hell No! Drs Fauci and Birx are the new economic advisors to the President! They are in control of when Americans are allowed to go back to work! Give them both a huge raise!

No. They should BOTH resign. Failing that, they should both be fired. And, the Universities and other institutions whose Models were complete and total garbage relegated to ridicule and humiliation.

I still think that we should offer free college by having all administrators and full professors work for free. The adjuncts and grad students teach all the classes anyway.

But ok, I will bite. How about every single son of a B congress critter cut their pay to what the President of the USA takes?
Regardless of whether they are deep staters or not, the niche for which they had a purpose no longer exists. And further, CDC and WHO types have proven themselves to be wrong on almost everything. Whether that's because they needed to project a worst case scenario to be safe or not ... their time has passed, the purpose is served, well or now. Even if they are fine people, which I suspect Fauci is not, and Birx might be but is still probably at best a well meaning and very nice entrenched bureaucrat (her role, if not her, is an enemy of freedom) ... ... ... it's time for their ROLES to go even had they done a wonderful job.
We don't need docs anymore on the front line of policy making. We need business people who, behind the scenes, are advised by docs from many different intra-doc fields and from many different points of view.
That's how I see it. Good people or bad people isn't even the issue any more. The time for docs - especially docs who are bureaucrats who couldn't operate a lemonade stand - the time for them to be calling shots and having a first class spot in the public debate is over.
A pay cut is easy. I’m sure he has plenty of money. Taking some shifts in his warehouses and exposing himself to the virus, that would be hard. He won’t do that. But it’s real American and patriotic when the people who need the money do it.
Fauci and Birx should not even have a job. Period.
I was thinking the same thing.. They’re the ones that started all the fear and caused the Democrat governors to lock down the population.. Kill the economy!
FEDs have not been furloughed many are teleworking but others are on administrative leave which is quite different.
Their direct deposits are processing just as usual while they wait to be called back.
