It’s a deceptive headline. If you read the story, it says “school year.”
So.. is school OUT completely, or are parents teaching their kids on-line and at-home? Someone brought up a great point the other day - that one small speck of silver lining in all of this is that parents can now SEE the propaganda garbage the leftist “teachers” are feeding our kids, and their eyes are opening. If that’s the case, I can see why the leftist politicians / “teachers” / unions would want to shut down education ENTIRELY rather than interrupt their brainwashing sessions.
It's closed through the end of the academic year (June). The headline is scarier than the text of the article. Still, I agree it's overkill with the improving numbers and continual downward revisions in predictions. I think he had to be cautious because we neighbor NY and NJ, so I haven't griped too much about his enthusiasm for restrictions. It's over the top now, and I really think this is premature.
