Well, except that if you or your employees become infected, their physical bodies become an elevated danger to others. One can attribute the level of danger that is, but it does enter into the calculations.

Sadly, that's just no longer true at all in any meaningful sense. We have no rights that cannot be trampled to death by the all-powerful state. I know several small business owners that would open back up in a heartbeat, but they won't do it because they (justly) fear the wrath of government and all of their various enforcement arms more than they fear bankruptcy.
