(sorry the photo is so big)
Was the dog on the trip?
I do not think so. Had not heard either way.
That is screwed up...Their TRUCK AND TRAILER.
Not much info here. What does “pulling the boat from the river” mean? Was it still afloat, pulled to shore, and they are missing from it? Did it sink and was pulled from the depths?
The boat was in the water but never left the marina?
No, I messed up and asked to have it deleted. I meant TRUCK and TRAILER.
At the link there is a photo of them pulling the boat out of the water, but no indication as to where they found it exactly.
From another article: “The father, he added, typically fished the river and would not have ventured into the lake, especially with the high winds that day.”
There was no distress call.
Thanks, I see.
Praying for a miracle and peace.
Prayers for this father and son.
If you go to the link, one picture seems to show a sunken boat being pulled from the river?
Which is strange because most modern small boats float even filled with water.
It also looks like the boat launch is flooded.
Most aluminum boats even with underseat foam will sink or maintain a bow-up position just at the waterline due to the motor pulling it down. The Detroit River Lake Erie basin has extremely high water again, like 1973. This flooded ramp might be worse due to wind driven water pile up. Water levels on the Great Lakes really fluctuate, maybe 5 or 6 feet over 5 or 10 year periods. The global warming idiots attributed a low period to GW of course, saying normal levels would never return.
God bless them and their families.
Prayers done for Them to be found Safe and for Your Husband and All the Families to have Peace and Comfort.
Please keep Us informed on search results.
A few things are unclear to Me. Did They launch from a Ramp on the River or on Lake Erie ?
Did They have PFDs ?
Did They have Radio or Cell Phone ?
In the Pic of Recovery of the Boat it looks to Me to have been pulled from underwater. Is that location near where They found the
Boat or was it found in deeper water ?
Prayers to your family. Was the boat fibreglass and how big is it. Not sure of the area, but any islands in the waterway?
The father’s body has been found. No son yet.
Prayers for the family. His mother’s heart must be shattered.
Thank you. It is strange in a way, they are still looking for people who might have information. As if foul play was involved.
