By November - I wonder how many D’s will have had a family member stating that the HCQ combo saved their life...AND THE MEDIA AND D’S WERE AGAINST USING IT.
Interesting times :)

While I’m wary of a bandwagon effect being generated by too many anecdotal accounts , there’s no excuse for the liberal media’s head-in-the-sand attitude on hydroxychloroquine. And actually it’s worse than head-in-the-sand; it’s more like on-the-corner-soapbox “You will burn in hell if you use it!”
On the other hand, if you’re into thinking that President Trump plays 3d chess while his opponents are brushing up on their skill at checkers, well, he might just have purposely coaxed them so far out over their skis on this one that they’ll never recover.
Let’s say he got a solid briefing from a number of sources on HCQ and then, knowing exactly how skeptical the reaction would be, he worked it into his press briefing. And then followed up day after day, letting the press dig themselves in deeper and deeper with inane questions each briefing.
Now there’s no recovery for them. If it does turn out to be the “game changer”, they will have been beaten into the ground by their own coverage. No recovery of reputation will be possible after that. Did President Trump see all that at the outset? That would require the press to be absolutely predictable. So, yes, he just might have. If so, checkmate could be just around the corner.
