Absolutely Navy Vet. The Secretary turned a difficult situation into a PR disaster when he could not control his thirst for revenge. And now you have the spectacle of the Under Secretary of the Army coming over to take over as Navy Secretary.

If Ted Lieu, Nancy Pelosi, and Dick Blumenthal are on your side, you better look about yourself. Crozier’s a bad egg.

Exactly. Contrast this to the fealty shown a community organizer from chicago by uniformed military leadership. Even though his ROE and dithering that got their soldiers/sailors killed, hollowing out of the military, brazen faggotry/sex change ops/etc., humiliating cashiering of McChrystal, etc., etc

The military brass couldn’t get enough of Obama and the Democrat party. But somehow they find Trump and the decisions of his appointees are not kosher? Something is rotten in Denmark.

Modly was fired not for expressing his concerns but the way he did so. (You can call it a resignation but he knew he would be fired if he didn’t go on his own)

Crozier was fired not for expressing his concerns but the way he did so. Fixed it for you.

We both know this won’t harm his career and he’s still on track to make admiral. Cry me a river.

Absolutely. Particularly after it became known the Crozier has the corona virus and was not there to defend himself.

I don’t recall any of our military getting their panties in a twist when Obama humiliated McChrystal by recalling him from half way around the world to remove him from command personally at the White House.

Why is that?

Obama purged any flag officer who was competent and not slavishly loyal to him......or who wanted to send relief to Benghazi.

The McChrystal case is exactly what this reminds me of. Hell, they even made a movie making fun of McChrystal (War Machine with Brad Pitt). No folk hero status for him, no sirree bob. But this Crozier fellow is suddenly their own personal Jesus? It stinks.

If those pansy sailors never heard worse language from a superior...then basic training must have turned into sorority rush.

I'm sure the sailors have heard worse. I'm sure the media has heard worse. I'm sure Modly has said worse. But he said it to a crew, some members of who taped it and made sure it made it to the press. And again, if Modly didn't think that might happen then he was either naive or stupid. And if being naive and stupid are grounds enough to relieve a commanding officer then they're certainly reason enough to remove a Navy secretary.

Stuff happens. It’s a big navy. It’s not in disarray.

It’s my observation that having commanded people in the military is no insurance against being foolish. Seen plenty enough that were.
