Local woman says she still hasn't received unemployment and has reached out to a local lawmaker, Representative Peggy Bennett.
The Albert Lea woman sits down with Ross Becker to voice her frustration and fear of "living off nothing".

The system was man powered to support 1.5 million applications and now finds itself over burdened with 20 million applications.
It doesn’t feel good to wait but, they will eventually, in the next two weeks, process and fulfill the unemployment applications.
It will happen, just gonna have to wait a bit longer than is comfortable.

Her letter is dated 15 Mar. It’s been 3 weeks. The state of Minnesota taking 3 weeks to pay unemployment is news?
OMG these people are BEYOND stupid evidently this stupid bitch thinks she is the ONLY ONE that has filed for unemployment, everyday going through this brings more and more of these idiots into the light!! Now we know exactly WHY Dems get elected these people are to stupid to vote!! There should be a civics test given to anyone wanting to vote you fail no voting!!

Check to check is no way to go through life. Millennials especially have less than $500 in savings and mountains of debt. Hard lesson learned. Some found themselves starving within a week of losing their job. If you’re a waiter, good luck.
Anything in restaurants, hair cutter, service in general. It will be interesting to see how many bratty kids in my neighborhood who wouldn’t dare reduce themselves to mowing a lawn or mulching will be knocking on doors. When my dad got laid up and was a barber I worked as a roofer at age 15 to bring in money. This’ll be a wake up call for many.
Sorry to hear that and I hope you recover soon. A buddy of mine has had to furlough several workers, and as much as he hates handouts, took the federal loan/grant to keep him afloat with his remaining employees for a couple months. Also, some banks are allowing homeowners to suspend mortgage payments for a few months with no hit to their credit, if that helps keep your head above water. Good luck.

Of course she has not. Government is replete with liars who constantly promise favors in the future for support today and so many dumb voters agree to that plan.
Social secuirty, medicare, medicaid, unemployment and many others are all promises in the future for your money today. Then, when tomorrow comes, only democrats get the money because it is used as pay back for the votes.
By the way, that is also why only people earning less than $75,00O will get the $1200 checks. More payback to democrat voters by theft from the productive.

Unemployment benefits are a STATE CONTROLLED AND ADMINISTERED BENEFIT - NOT A FEDERAL BENEFIT.
That is why Trump wanted the Feds in the crisis to mail the unemployment checks to the public because state unemployment departments never upgraded their technology and would be overwhelmed during the crisis. He said the Dems in Congress nixed the idea ostensibly because politicians from Dem states wanted their state Dem administration to be seen as giving out the checks and no way would they want Trump’s signature on them

States haven't even received Federal instructions on how to set up unemployment for small businesses. When they do, they will revisit claims like yours. Keep filing your weekly claims.
every time I log in it says “nothing to do” and I am not allowed to do anything.
I’ll live with out it but it would be nice.
