So this means that the AU authorities believe that the evidence shows that Cdl. Pell was not guilty of the charges for which he was imprisoned?

Yes - the High Court is our highest court - like the Supreme Court in the United States.

This verdict is final. It cannot be overturned.

Cardinal Pell is officially Not Guilty, and has been acquitted of all charges.
