I really don’t see it that way. I’m at higher risk than my husband, so he does most of the shopping. Occasionally, I go in alone, just because I have a better idea of our inventory and what is needed to cook certain meals.
She mentioned that her household contains two people over 90 and an infant and toddler and no one goes in or out. I get the impression she or her husband do the shop and perhaps use pick up or delivery services and supplies are left at the door for the elders and babes. It seems she is really spooked by the CV and doing all she can to protect those she loves and is responsible for.
I know it’s popular to hate her and Fauci, but even Fauci is just a by-the-book old fart scientist and he even admits it. He’s consistently told the press he isn’t at odds with Trump, even though they have divergent personal styles.
ALL the Task Force has evidenced exasperation with the media as they patiently explain and re-explain everything for the kindergartners. ‘The Admiral” and the military logistics guy with the difficult to remember/spell names have the hardest time hiding their irritation.
Trump praises them all the time and they all return the favor. I also think that working together and having to deal with the mediots has helped all of them bond with each other and with POTUS.

Yes, she and Fauci are active progs. I have some suspicions about personal proclivities of Admiral G (grey marine cut) and the Surgeon General, but they are all competent and have not exhibited rampant TDS. Fauci has even told the media to stop trying to find wedges between himself and Trump.
I’m for putting my own politics, boredom and worries aside as we all go through this s#!+. The country does not need any more drama queens. Three more weeks. Even this old hermit is ready to go to a restaurant again.

If his response to Trump’s “Deep State Department” comment was innocent, then he’s just very low IQ. Not plausible.
The old paradigm of progressive vs conservative has been revealed to be a silly and staged front for the real conflict.
