The blame does not belong to “elected officials” alone by a long shot. The so-called American businesses were more than happy to screw the country and move their factories.

The problem stems from the fact that America hasn’t been an actual Nation since the 60’s. You can’t expect people to be loyal to something they don’t love.

This “crisis” needs to be a teaching moment to consumers.
We need more self sufficiency in manufacturing vital things, even if it incurs additional costs.

Over 20 years ago I remember seeing a list of countries that as a factory owner you could pick from and OUR govt. would PAY YOUR EXPENSES to move to.

The blame squarely belongs to the elected officials who facilitated it and KNEW what they were doing like Bush Sr.
