Indeed - just like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, etc. Trudeau’s party in Canada lost the “national popular vote” in the last election - the Left didn’t complain since he was one of them.

Parlimentarism sucks. All a majority party has to do when ever it doesn't like something is call for a ‘’vote of no confidence’’ and a whole new round of elections have to take place. Parlimentarism is one of the surest ways for a dictatorship to come into existence. People tire of having to go through the process all the time and eventually settle on someone smart enough to appeal to that voter fatigue.
