I see President Trump's parry strategy.

The reporters always preface their questions with long predicate preambles, like "You said the other day that you 'see light at the end of the tunnel...'"

We know that they are just setting up the next gotcha question, but he cuts them off before they can finish asking the question, saying things like "I do see light at the end of the tunnel..." Then he expands on that for two minutes and then calls on someone else.

If reporters don't want to get caught, they should just ask a straight-up question and don't try to pre-load it with traps.

By the way, that’s the leftist MO. The tactic is instead of just asking a specific straight forward question, they’ll give a speech disguised as question, getting in as much leftist dogma and gotcha questions in as possible, hoping if Trump trips, he falls. It’s a very hostile combative attitude they have for this president.

They’re a very disgusting group of people.
