That’s a scary story. An allegedly former gun hater with no experience, no training goes out and buys a handgun. He/she has no idea about safety. He/she won’t know how to hold it or what to do if it jams. It’s the world gone mad.

Me neither. He bought a gun for the same reason people hoard toilet paper: because he fears none will be left to buy.
Why wasn’t he concerned about the consequences of the break down of civil disorder before? The old saw: conservatives are liberals who got mugged applies.
There sure are a lot of them coming out of the woodwork now. How horrible it must be to find out they are not the center of the universe.
