As many Christians plan to welcome the Holy Week from their homes through online streams due to the coronavirus pandemic, President Donald Trump tweeted on Saturday that he will be tuning in to a stream of Riverside’s Harvest Christian Fellowship’s services on Sunday.
“Palm Sunday is the beginning of a Holy week for many people of Faith and a great day to lift our voices in Prayer,” Trump said in his tweet.
Harvest church leader Pastor Greg Laurie, who is known for his large-scale evangelical crusades, packing large venues such as Angel Stadium in Anaheim, welcomed the announcement, thanking the president in a tweet of his own.
“We are honored that the President of the United States will be watching our service! I think he is providing a wonderful example of the importance of the Church in America,” Laurie told the Southern California News Group in an emailed statement.

I watched Harvest last Sunday. They did a great job.
