What a great come back. I thought you’d tell me to get off your lawn.
The Surgeon General doesnt impress me, especially because of hir masks lies. But he is clean and articulate.
= = = = = = = = = = =
I don’t think he DELIBERATELY ‘lied’ BUT you can’t have members of the same ‘team’ all going on different outlets with DIFFERENT versions of what is going on.
(Conjure up a picture of ‘herding cats’)
Like the ‘Dr’ said he was tired of the media trying to drive a wedge between him and PDJT...WELL stay off the ‘interviews’ and quite acting like a teen age girl standing behind the President.
He & Birks are ‘scientists’ so - as in the case with ADM Stockdale(he being a genius debating two lightweights...his pausing for a feasible answer doesn’t ‘work’ in politics) - are really not ‘qualified’ to address the nation on a daily basis as they tend to point out the WORST possible scenario to CYA and if too high they can always say it was ‘good’ they overpredicted.
Why your ‘regular Doctor’ consoles you while to the surgeon replacing your heart you are just another # and he has to move on to the next patient.
Yes, have the scientists behind you for FACTUAL (not sugar coated) data but use the old WJC...no more questions, I have to go back to work for the American Public......(Works every time)
As to the clean & articulate, that seemed to be the ONLY qual certain LEADING Liberals had inre a certain Presidential candidate and I do believe one of the fools basically said ‘20 years ago he would have been getting us coffee’.....
Here’s MY suggestions on how to shop safely:
Drive carefully.
Don’t stop at a gay bar on your way.
Don’t take the subway crammed with a thousand of your closest friends.
Go to a big store with some room in it.
Get your stuff.
Don’t hug, kiss or exchange bodily fluids with the cashier.
Drive carefully on the way home, staying out of airliners, subways and crowded beach parties along the way.
Once home, wash your hands like a surgeon, 60 seconds or more.
Put the food away.
Go outside for a walk in fresh air. Still avoiding airliners, subways and crowded beach parties along the way.
PS: If someone sneezes while you are around? It is probably allergies. Happens to a lot of us every Spring no matter what the Chicoms engineer in their labs.
I remember my mom telling me that stove top was all about tasting and adjusting. She said baking was chemistry. She was not good at either...but she tried and I appreciated it.
I saw a vid on youtube yesterday that indicated vac bag filters made from glass micro fibers, not good to breathe through, fibers can get in your lungs.
Multiple layers of this filter would be required to be effective to block a virus particle, and cutting the filter in anyway, disturbs the glass micro fibers, make them more likely to be inhaled.
Video was from a Dr.
Good idea!
I don’t need another one, but, will suggest this to those smart enough to get one.
Ahhhh. Ok. I know I saw that about house air filter with glass fiber. Didnt see that about an Oreck.
That sure makes sense. That’s why I haven’t been big on the vac bags, as filters.
I linked to video in post above yours.
Thanks :-)
Ha!
I’ve never been much of a baker. I cook in streaks. It’s hit or miss imo, but everyone else seems ok with it.
I want to learn how to do as much as I can even if I don’t excel so I try and do a little of everything.
The one thing I really hate is knitting though.
I’m so jealous of people who can knit their own socks a d whatnot. It wrecks my eyes though and I gave up trying.
Thanks for posting the clip. We had the VHS of the movie, but got rid of all of them ages ago.
“As to the clean & articulate, that seemed to be the ONLY qual certain LEADING Liberals had inre a certain Presidential candidate”
I remember it well; that’s why I brought it up. I’ll never forget when I heard it. I was getting ready for work one day in CA, and I think it was Laura Ingraham played Biden’s audio clip. I gasped.
It’s not called the ‘Toilet Paper Pandemic’ for nothing!
I cannot knit to save my life.
I know the technique, technically, but getting it to look like something?
Forget it.
Feedack from Mrs. foxfield: Eggs frozen in shell are not that great. Shells crack in the freezing process but are easy to remove by running under cold water, but fully thawed eggs are kind of rubbery. She freezes them this way as a backup for when the hens slow down. She wants to try the scramble and freeze method. Thank you for the tip.
You bet.
Keep me posted, if/when she does try.
