Who is going to starve to death? I have been to the store twice in the last three weeks and the shelves were bare in spite of being stocked every day. I have enough food for a couple of months, and that’s from before the recommendation to stay home, but I wanted a couple of fresh items like OJ and raisins and bread.
But it’s clear that my neighbors are buying more food now than they have in the last six months. Apparently they’ve all decided to become bakers too since they scarf up every bag of flour put on the shelves. And that’s with all our tourist related accommodations shut down.
why don’t they just say WEAR A MASK and WASH YOUR HANDS....

where I live, there were lines even for the self check...they had tp but no flour and sugar ( my spouse thought I was crazy to buy 50# of sugar back in January)....everybody was courteous and friendly and I made an effort to speak to any worker there...about 1/3 of people were wearing masks...

Agreed. This is getting ridiculous. I was 100% in favor of precautions at the start. Now I feel like a fu bro because this has become a complete joke. I have 2 total cases in my county. Why should I shut my county down because NYC lives like cattle. Stupid.
