One takeaway from that article; the Wuhan “wet market” is about 900 miles from the nearest bat cave where coronaviruses in bats has been found. Unlikely any of those bats were sold at the Wuhan seafood market.
Another takeaway is that the first confirmed case of Covid-19 had no exposure to the market.
As for Fauci’s statement that these markets are an “unusual human-animal interface” that would be news in China where they have likely operated for 3k to 4k years.
