You know what’s common sense? With the country closed, we’re probably going to end up with at least 30,000 dead. If Trump took your course of action, conservatively speaking I’d say we could easily have 50,000 dead. But let’s leave it at the 30,000 number. Combine that with the attacks the media would take on Trump for not listening to Fauci, xcetera, and you would easily be looking at Joe Biden(or worse) in the White House come November.
