Hasn't been approved. So they get the patent....for how many years....and they can charge anything they want.

On the other hand, the malaria cocktail is $20. The drugs have been used for ages, approved, and millions are still around.

Any bets that cheaper, more available drugs that do the job will be pushed aside for the “premium” drugs?
