So get your Aerobic Exercise!
I don’t shop at Walmart or Costco anyway. Now I’m very thankful I don’t.
Not from what they explained here - may be a regional variation; for example, the ones here haven’t been told to not sell non-essential items.
Walmarts pickups haven’t been available here for about a month. That is how daughter always grocery shops. There is either no time available or they have nothing in stock. She said everytime she has tried all the times are blacked out. She thinks Walmart just cancelled them here for awhile. There was nothing in the stores for a couple of weeks to buy anyway.
It is not just Walmart, throw Trader Joe’s, Target, Home Depot and fill in the blanks____________,_______________.
Thank your governors, mayors, city and county Corona Nazis who are demanding this.
Listed below will marching orders in all Walmarts, Targets, Home Depots,Trader Joe’s and >>>?, before next week is over.
Walmart in Williston is letting customers know it is not offering “non-essential” items for purchase. The store roped off a large section of its store to comply with the governor’s order April 1, 2020. (Photo: APRIL BARTON/FREE PRESS)
What items are considered ‘non-essential’?
According to the news release, large retailers must cease in-person sales of items that include, but are not limited to:
Arts and crafts items.
Beauty supplies.
Carpet and flooring.
Clothes.
Consumer electronics.
Entertainment (books, music, movies).
Furniture.
Home and garden.
Jewelry.
Paint.
Photo services.
Sports equipment.
Toys.
Access to aisles or sections of the store that contain these items will be restricted. Retailers that sell essential goods such as food, beverages and medicine are still allowing in-person sales of those items.

“I dont shop at Walmart or Costco anyway. Now Im very thankful I dont.”
I only go there to pick up a certain Rx which they sell for 10X less than all drug stores. If I have to wait in line for hours I dont know what.
I think Wal-Mart May be trying to get a leg up on the inevitable flash looting.
This will work well in a cold windy snow storm. Like the one we just had.
Use pickup options and go in the mid morning to get your stuff.
We found before the BS crisis hit, 2-30 pm or 6-7 pm was the best time to go to our local WM to pick up stuff.
Now with no school, the best time 10-3 pm or 6-7 pm.
Running us through Walmart likes rats in a maze.
One of these days we’re going to laugh so hard at this crap.
The only other full service grocery store in our community has made it very clear they don’t want to business of those who support the Second Amendment. (not just a sign on the door, the CEO actually said it) They lost several hundred dollars a month of my business.
Definitely not the case here, but I’m in a major metro area - Dallas. I retrieved a pickup order and some toilet paper on my way out in a North Central Dallas store on Thursday.
Wal-Mart is being a rational business. In population-dense areas this policy is sensible and clever; orderly people will comply and complainers will go elsewhere.
What a bargain for Walmart and its good customers.
Thatll cut down on business. Who wants to wait in line all day. Save that for the DMV.
Welcome to the Soviet Union, Comrade.
“Feel the Bern!”
let’s see...
Trump...no toilet paper and rationing of resources and martial law.
Bernie...no toilet paper and rationing of resources and martial law.
What’s the difference??
Early 20th century Piggly Wiggly stores had a similar setup where people were routed through in only one direction. I don’t recall reading reports of people complaining bitterly about it then...
I said "forget it" and immediately took my leave.
Today, under Trump, it's a reality in America.
