There is a movie called “Beatles Stories” on Netflix. Toward the end of the movie Lennon’s butler during Lennon’s last years claims that Lennon hoped Reagan would beat Carter, and he was embarrassed by “Imagine”.
I’ve heard those claims, but I am also confident Lennon would have: a) loved Obama and b)loathed President Trump.
