Bernie Ecclestone is going to be a dad for the fourth time.
The former Formula One Group chief executive, 89, and his wife Fabiana Flosi are expecting their first child together, a baby boy, in July, multiple outlets report.
Speaking with U.K. news agency PA Media, Ecclestone said of becoming a dad again, “I don’t see there’s any difference between being 89 and 29,” according to CNN. “You’ve got the same problems I suppose. It’s all right.”
The father-to-be’s baby on the way will be his first son. He’s also dad to daughters Petra, 31, Tamara, 35, and Deborah, who turns 65 this year. The Telegraph reports that Ecclestone has five grandkids and one great-grandchild.

For heaven’s sake, he is not Abraham. This is gross and so irresponsible to the child. It is an act of complete selfishness.
He might have a grandchild her age. LOL
A old record company mogul married his young secretary a while back. He was 78 and she was 33 and 1/3.
He looks like an emaciated likeness of a non moustache wearing Captain Kangaroo. At age 89 his son will basically grow up without his daddy.

Serious question.... Who’s less fertile... an 89-year-old man or a 44-year-old woman?
His wife (44) is young enough to be his daughter's (65) daughter.

Def. the woman. I don’t think males have any age related infertility. Case in point here. Also Tony Randall famously became a father at an advanced age. I think he was 70 something.
But still, let’s not be mean folks. They are having a baby. A gift from G-d. That is a good thing. May all go well!

It’s a matter of the stability of the eggs.
Hers are aging as she ages while his sperm are fresh.
At 44 a woman’s eggs can be damaged causing havoc for the child.
Regardless of the age, it’s still nothing short of a miracle in each birth.
Now he has a legacy. Better late than never.
