Exactly right. But let’s face it, Cuomo was not the only one. This has been going on since the 1960s. There is an insane central planning strategy that starts with the idea that investment in the healthcare industry is bad because it drives up costs. The argument defies basic economics but that’s what the government regulators have been practicing for more than 50 years. And it’s not just hospital beds. Hospitals in general, hospital equipment, even human capital—doctors and nurses training.

I agree with you 100%. It’s been a slower version of NASA and the Challenger disaster; “Faster Better Cheaper”.
