You are changing the bar. You stated quite explicitly that little microscopic chunks of fecal matter were inhaled if you could smell it ("it means that microscopic pieces of FECES..."). That is second grade playground 'science'. Grow up.

Yes, I did. An error on my party.

I should have said that if you are close to the person, it is highly likely you inhaled the feces, and possible even if it came from across the room.

Yes, I should have said 'excrement' instead of 'feces', since Skatole is defined as being 'excrement'. Still, if you smell it, you probably also got some solid matter (feces) up your nose. We get lot's of crap up our noses.
