Even that photo is annoying. Why the hell does a man in that position sit there grinning like a moron? In many parts of the world grinning like that with no reason is a sign of being simpleminded.
Pull up a photo of Halsey, Nimitz, King, Kincaid. They all look fairly pissed off about something.
Perhaps he was better suited to command the USS Harvey Milk.
