That was horrific.
The fact that we are at this point in a pandemic (possibly 4 months into this) and the general population cannot feel confident about what the true situation or danger to themselves and their families that this virus presents is a huge problem. Any illnesses or deaths of those who get this virus because they don’t take reports seriously enough can be laid directly at the feet of today’s so-called mainstream media and government officials.
After the general population has been lied to by the media and government officials so often and for so long is it any wonder that so many no longer believe what they are being told with any confidence?
And just to clarify my position, I am still undecided as to the severity the virus presents (because I don’t know what to believe anymore). I am abiding by the shelter in place order in my states and erring on the side of caution; not because I’m particularly afraid, but because I can’t trust the media to report the truth anymore.
