Global oil storage could reach maximum capacity within weeks, energy analysts have told CNBC, as the coronavirus crisis dramatically reduces consumption and some of the worlds most powerful crude producers start to ramp up their output. The coronavirus pandemic has meant countries have effectively had to shut down, with many governments imposing draconian measures on the daily lives of billions of people. It has created an unprecedented demand shock in energy markets, with storage space both onshore and offshore quickly running out.

Told my buddy that Gas this Cheap and I’ve been stuck here for weeks ... I’m gonna top off and take off at Sunrise and get back home when I am out of gas ... No destination, just a big loop... (take a couple fishing rods, just in case)
Theoretically 540 miles, more likely about 400 miles (my bladder is much smaller than it used to be, I’ll run out of Daylight before I run out of Gas)
The trip would be “Mostly for Fun” but Business Cards will ride along so it will be a Tax Deductible endeavor

Gas Wars in the early 70’s we had 13.5 per gallon for a couple of days... The Independents lost and went away... then Jimmy Carter shows up and we had Gas Lines

Yeah thats as far back as I go too. lIRC low 20s or maybe even high teens was the lowest for me but I was so young I probably had no concept what it meant.
Can’t happen in California....taxes are 91 cents/gallon. Free gasoline!!! (+ tax).
