Mormonism is pretty unpopular here. I think I know why, but I will tell you in Freep mail. Sometimes Mormons show up at my door. No doubt they are some of the nicest people around. Their religion, however, is poisonous. I always tell them, ok, I believe in the Trinity, and under NO circumstances, will I accept ANYTHING but the Bible, and I don’t want to hear about it being correctly translated. Do you still want to discuss the Word of God? They usually don’t want to do that. 😁 Oh well, that is their problem. Forgive me if I seem somewhat disdainful of false Mormon doctrine, Paul said, of those pushing false religions, let them be accursed. This is another gospel, spawned by the devil himself. 👎
Talking with a mormon and getting them to admit what their cult teaches, is like nailing jello to the wall.
They will stand up in their meetings and claim Joseph Smith was a prophet, but then when you ask them about what he actually said, or did (he was a scammer and horndog), they either pretend it isn't important, or deny the plain words.
You are right though, it is total hogwash!
