Bingo! The death rate is much higher than his figures. Why would he do that?

I tried to learn about worldometers and see who runs them.
It is owned by dadax and I can’t find any information on them. I don’t trust their data. I hope other freepers can check them out.

WHAT I WANT TO SEE....is a DAILY CHART comparing flu cases, flu hospitalizations and flu DEATHs with Covid-19 stats on the same items.

Yes, that is very relevant information. However, you would get a whole bunch of people who will tell you that COVID-19 is far deadlier (it isn't), that the growth rate in cases (and therefore, deaths) is exponential, that to save every possible life, it must be stopped, no matter the cost in dollars or freedom (rather than endured, as we do with the flu every year), or hospitals will be "overwhelmed". All of this is based on incomplete data and demonstrably incorrect modeling. And of course, you will be subjected to the constant, sarcastic, "It's just the flu, bro", or the hysterical, "It's NOT just the flu, bro!"

That’s all true...and the bags are for packing produce for online orders and delivery, so kind of important.

I’m glad we have a President who is a businessman and not a lawyer.

And not a wannabe dictator. I'm so glad that Comrade Clinton is not president.

I didn’t mean to demean your situation. Shipping is crazy right now. The FTC was busy with a multitude of new rules that hampered trucking firms prior to Corona. Trump has waived one rule (hours) but he needs to waive a bunch more.

I would rather pay 2X to have my bike shipped then to wait. But thanks to “price gouging” concerns it is not an option. Too bad, because as Walter says getting price gouged causes capacity to increase.

What I want to are several million of those blood tests that show whether or not you’ve already had, and recovered from the WuFlu. There’s a chance that several million of us are immune already and don’t even know it. If people knew they have the antibodies, it could serve to simmer down the whole atmosphere.

But he is obviously trying to hide something - the severity of the disease. Or else he could publish current statistics instead of numbers from 5 days ago. I suggest you get you information from the link below and ignore this embarrassing cretin.

That's just foolish, for a couple reasons. First, where does it say he wrote the column today? He can only write it, he doesn't control when it's published.

Second, WW is not a 'cretin,' in any sense, time or place.

Absolutely agree

People should ask themselves (to take TP as an example) "Would I rather be able to buy TP at six dollars a pack, or not be able to buy it at three dollars a pack?"

Find the daily data for the flu... I don't see it in the usual places. The best I could find is weekly data here. The problem is also complicated by the presence of many strains of influenza... You will end up comparing "apples to oranges..."
