Yes, the military will not be your friend if rebellion occurs. Brother verses brother is not a slogan, its was a reality concerning battles in border States during the civil war. A rebellion will need to be patterned off of the American Revolution which required a lot of help from foreign countries (In their case, opposed to Britain at the time).
