The fact remains that the ChiComs need to pay.

Giving them the benefit of what little doubt there is about the true origin of the virus (wet market vs. biolab), their irresponsibility has cost our nation several trillions of dollars. I suggest we get a bit of that back by simply declaring that any money owed by any American citizen or resident to a Chinese national or Chinese company is null and void.

We can also revoke all of the US Treasury debt held by the government or any bank of individual in China. That might pay for about a third of what those pluckers owe us in financial terms for this disease that they unleashed on us. The lives lost and the misery caused are a wholly different matter.

We need a national policy written into legislation to remove dependence on foriegn supply chains and labor for all “essential” industries, to be in place within 5 years. We now have good lessons on what those are.

It isn’t just China, do you know what the lockdown in India is doing to IT and support for MOST essential US companies? We are in a severely precarious situation.
