King County was named after some white guy when it was created. A few years ago they “renamed” it King County - but now in honor of Martin Luther King. I forget how many millions they spent to change the logo on all of the signs, letterhead, county vehicles, parks, etc. Went from the image of a crown to MLK’s profile.

King County is named after William Rufus King, a former VP during the 1800s

I remind everyone here of that fact... beware those PC socialists who try to rewrite history.
