In my opinion: There is something between shutting down the economy with almost police state rules in some places and "riding it out." How about having the elderly and people with underlying health problems self-quarantining and the rest of society modifying behavior to avoid catching a virus?
YES a middle ground would have been much better!!!
To everyone that is upset with their local affiliates switching or not covering the daily briefings.
Stop watching them. Change the channel. Find other resources for news. We have not had TV in our house for several years and yet we provide metered information in ratings during this critical time.
me: There are times when a very old person goes into the hospital with several comorbidities and it is decided not to put the person on a ventilator. Now every time that happens and the person dies, it will be Trump's fault.
Trump says that he has had no word on it yet. He says that is the first question he asks every day. Now he says it is the third day. On Sunday he said that the administration had begun two days before. I guess not so or... something.
