There AREN’T ENOUGH MASKS!

Doing as the author suggests would have created toilet-paper like runs on them and people like my daughter the nurse would not have them available.

Exactly, that was why they did it

They should have been honest with the American people that there was a shortage of masks and that they needed to us to hold off while they obtained them for medical workers.

And they could have ordered the stores to pull them off the shelves and hold them for state and federal agencies to purchase.

But they didn’t. They lied, and now to get people to wear masks, which would help stop this pandemic, they’ve got to undo the damage they’ve done.

And the author is right. The next time they tell us not to do something, I’m going to question, should I not do that, or is that exactly the thing I should do.

We have already shown America has sold out much of its medical manufacturing capacity to China and elsewhere for the benefit of some short-term financialization and corporate debt service. So yes, there are not enough masks available for professionals.

For the general public, even a homemade cloth mask is better than nothing, as in casual social interaction, it will still somewhat reduce the chance of that random spray or droplet finding its way into your respiratory system. AND, if you are a carrier, it will certainly reduce the droplets you are emitting. Like social distancing, it has an increasingly greater effect with a higher participation rate.

Bingo. The author is either woefully ignorant or just trying to score political points.

Some are speculating that this is why fed gov did/said this...to not wear masks....in order to build up a supply of masks for our frontline defense....healthcare workers/first responders, etc.

Now that supply demands will be met, we will get the green light of a requirement, from CDC/fed gov, in about a week, to begin wearing masks, in public...per Dr Matt McCarthy, Cornell doc.

This dithering by the “healthcare community” has really inspired a lot of confidence from the public. The Chicoms really pushed masks and I am thinking they help more than they hurt, but we don’t have enough and the “healthcare community” essentially wants to make sure they are covered even if we are not.

I bought a case of N95s with exhale vents, a case without vents, and a case of N100s with vents when Obama invited infected from Africa into the country. I have asthma.

I have no qualms about wearing the 100s and sharing the 95s with my family. Yes, it’s sad the idiots in charge didn’t stock up to protect our first responders and medical community. Too bad they didn’t have the foresight I did. I bought them on Amazon, and they weren’t that costly.

I home schooled my children.

I also have six months of food supply and six months of ammo. Am I supposed to feel guilty because others couldn’t think ahead?

I also have three shepherds and a rottweiler. Should I give them away to those less fortunate who don’t have guard dogs?

Should I take down my perimeter cameras?

Funny how those who looked down their noses at me for prepping and home schooling are now prepping and home schooling.
