U.S. equity futures are trading higher after the S&P 500 rose for a fourth session in the last five to begin the week.
The major futures indexes are indicating a rise of 0.9 percent when trading begins on Tuesday.
Asian shares traded mixed Tuesday after a rally in U.S. stocks.

Stock exchanges are such emotional places. Fear and enthusiasm are on a bipolar mood swing state, and often cycle very quickly when there is a hanging uncertainty.
Can COVID-19 be stopped rather quickly? Several countries have had some success in flattening out the surge in the control of the disease, while other countries have seen it overwhelm and almost totally paralyze virtually all economic activity. By now, thee have been some advances in the pragmatic control of the spread and the individual treatment of the persons affected. Some rather dramatic reversals of cases with a high degree of morbidity do give cause for hope in the race to develop “herd immunity” before it is overwhelmed by “herd mentality”.
People condemn President Trump for maintaining an upbeat outlook, but pessimism is such a negative thing, and one that can quickly lead to a nightmarish despair. This in turn leads to severe mental anguish, which in and of itself can greatly impair personal physical health.
Keep the faith, America. This too shall pass, and with its passing, several, many, valuable lessons shall come of it. First, prepare for tomorrow, today. We know what are the critical points where the social contract can and does break down, anticipate with strategies to cope. If this sounds like prepper philosophy, then so be it. Honing up on skills that you may have talent for, but have not applied before, gives a second chance when recovery comes, as it shall, surely ad day follows night. And respect the basic rules of civilized society, even when your neighbors may or may not reciprocate. Believe it or not, courtesy is contagious, and in a good way.

makes perfect sense.....because companies with no cash, mountains of debt and suddenly no customers are great investments..
Depending on the company, they are great investments - unless you are a day trader or a short term investor.
Can I just have my old 5% Passbook Savings account again?
I would be happy to put all my money in one or a couple of them.
