Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson is partnering with the U.S. government to produce up to 1 billion doses of a coronavirus vaccine for use around the world by the end of next year.

Asked on NBC’s “Today” on Monday how quickly the first vaccines could be available, CEO Alex Gorsky replied, “This is like a moonshot for us.”

“What would usually take five to seven years, we expect to be able to accomplish in five to seven months,” he said.

Well that’s a crazy idea for American civil liberties.

But I think she got the idea from the Israelis, who while a Democratic and Liberal country don’t have a Constitution. They have a basic law or something like that. They have the ability to track everyone from their cell phone movement so they know who was in proximity to an infected person. All they need is a vote and a sign off from their attorney general and in 48 hours they will get all the cell phone records in the country and have a map showing who interacted with infected persons and when.
