I think it was a far fetched to think everything would be back to normal by Easter..Trump is the eternal optimist, Im still hoping that somehow this can be cleared up in the next few weeks so we can go back to our normal lives
Don’t count on “normal”...less restrictive, yes, but it won’t be “normal” like it was for some time...think differences in travel post-9/11...some things will change permanently...maybe even borders??
It is a difficult line that Trump is walking. He's balancing many competing priorities, and I have no doubt the economy weighs heavily on his mind. I firmly believe he will do the best thing he can do for the United States--there is no question about that.
A good leader is optimistic, but their optimism must be rooted in some reality. If it's April 23rd, or May 1st or May 15th, we can adjust; if it's much beyond June 1, I think President Trump will have a credibility problem.
Still, I'd believe Trump, who is at least penciling in dates, as opposed to some of the naysayers. These are the academic types who don't give dates or even ballparks; they're content to letting the models play out...their only concern being the data.
Being a loner is my normal life. LOL! Well except for Mrs rktman and others...
