Your comment made me think about the original SARS outbreak of 2002-3 that also started in China. It was deadly at the time and there weren’t any medicines to fight it except maybe Tamiflu. I didn’t think it ever came back as a second wave. I checked in wiki and they say this virus hasn’t been found since 2004. I read somewhere that it could have mutated to a harmless state. Maybe this SARS-2 coronavirus could do the same...
Mark Levin had a doctor on his show talking about viruses. It was fascinating. The ones with a very high death rate actually self-terminate because killing your host pretty much ends your product line as a virus. They mutate to milder forms as a survival tactic.
