I was thinking the poor germaphobes must be going insane.
Germaphobes seem to not understand that we have an immune system that usually does quite fine as long as we have reasonable standards of personal hygiene and community hygiene. What I’m concerned about is the germaphobe-nazis who will impose germaphobe standards on individuals and society. Our country will be one big snowflake awaiting the next assault on our weakness. Essentially, freedom will be gone “for the better good”. Pathetic.
I keep thinking of Adrian Monk, the fictional detective, trying to solve a case in today’s San Francisco.
