Good question! Maybe she got her position through political connections and thought she was untouchable. Not in the era of Trump under the threat of Covid-19, I guess.

She didn’t view the statement as being a possible cause for losing her job. For so long the anger has simmered and she vented. The venting of her inner thoughts was discovered and made very public.
Trust me: At no point did she view her opinion as anything other than a logical thought process.
