How well I know that.
In 1976 I transferred from the Philippines to Naval Air Station, Fallon, Nevada. Within a week of reporting to the base, and while getting base housing set up, my father had a heart attack and stroke. I had to travel back to Orange County, California on emergency leave. Unfortunately that same day the base administered the Swine flu shot to everyone.
I left Fallon around 5PM with my wife and 5 year old son for a 16 hour drive. After around two hours of driving through the high desert in winter with outside temperatures around 40 degrees and the car heater on full blast I came down with a very high fever and had to keep the driver window down to try to lower my temperature.
The fever broke just about the time that we arrived in Orange County but I was laid up in bed for another 2 days.
To this day I refuse to take a flu shot. Even when the doctors plead with me to take it I still refuse.
The key that everyone is missing is the Zinc. He explains why zinc is the critical component.
I should not even attempt to explain as I will say it wrong but its the hydroxychloroquine that attacks the virus but cant get into the cells by itself. The zinc creates a tunnel to allow the hydroxychloroquine to enter the cell to kill the virus.
the purpose of azithromycin is to "prevent" other disease that comes into the body from the weaken state it is in or susceptible from the virus.
He describes this virus attacking the lungs with permanent damage to the lungs.
He claims this virus is 10X worse than the flu as we know it.

In 1956 I took all the shots the Navy threw at us even though in Boot Camp I was hospitalized a few days after a battery of them.
I do think we were given quinine pills while in the area around the Philippines and SE Asia (not entirely sure)

All the shipmates I am in contact with these days, none of them have gotten sick with the ‘beerflu’ and the better majority of them from those days are still alive...

I have been thinking alot about it also. Wonder if I were to contract the virus ( I am 78 and not in the best of health)... would I be able to request that my doctor use this treatment?? I sure hope so!! Living in California, nothing is sure!
My prediction is some Big Pharam, after a major stock buy from a bunch of congress critters, comes out with a combo Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin treatment. This of course gets a rush patent and is then declared to be the only authorized treatment by the FDA and CDC. Treatment will be in the range of $4k to $10k.

Vitamin C to be effective has to be used IV. You can't get the required dosing by taking it orally. Not that you shouldn't take Vitamin C for a whole host of reasons but if you try to take 3 or more grams by mouth you will just get diarrhea and not help yourself against the virus.

Agreed, whatever trials are done needs to be done quickly. However, without trials, it will take a lot longer to learn what works, and what doesn’t, proper doses, drug interactions, etc. We are probably at the point where two tracks are best — give it to those who want it, and continue to conduct a clinical trial with 1,500 volunteers.
Trump actually supported a two-track approach at one of the Task Force Briefings — he’s not opposed to the clinical trials.

You are correct that zinc is a critical component, but you have it backwards in that the hydroxychloroquine is actually the zinc ionophore ( creating “tunnel” in cell membrane to allow zinc into the cell. The zinc is what blocks viral replication in the cell by blocking the RDRP pathway ( RNA dependent RNA Polymerase)
