Governors in NV, MI and NY are limited its use by threatening doctors who prescribe it.
Where are you hearing that this is being used on CV19 pts, other than the doc (who has now been ordered to stop, per Rx constraints), in upstate NY?
I’ve heard of docs taking it, as a preventative...but, not in any other protocols.
NY was supposed to have started, but I read that there is a delay.

Since we don’t have malaria in these united states, nobody here was manufacturing hydroxychloroquine.
That is changing. Mylan Labs, in West Virginia, has reopened their plant and expect to produce many millions of pills, with first production about 15 April. This will go first to hospitals, for their most critical patients. It may be several months before there is enough for everybody in these united states.
Since hydroxychloroquine is off-patent, other companies will also gear up to make it. Profits will be small, both because it’s off-patent, and also for political reasons.
