Other than ghost cabbies that don't speak English who want to get their Newark-Midtown $100 fleecing going again, I don't see it. At all. Ever.

A lot of people who work in NYC are figuring out how to Work at Home these last few weeks, and finding it is kind of nice.
Working out of the kitchen is saving them three hour of unpleasant commuting per day. Aside from the whole business of wanting to avoid large crowds for the next decade or so, the extra time off is reason enough.
I don’t think it is going to go back to normal after this. A heck of a lot of people are going to start commuting one day a week or less, saving tons of time and avoiding the Commuter Tax.
