There is a list, that I found a couple of weeks ago, that listed every hospital in the country, with the number of beds, and, the number of ICU beds.

So, of your overall number of beds, in a given hospital, there are only so many ICU beds.

In the US, ICU beds are already about 60% occupied (on average), NYC ICU beds run at about 80%.
