The stay-at-home order issued by Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker realistically will extend “deep into April,” Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot told reporters on Friday.
Asked whether she’s talked with Pritzker about extending his stay-at-home order, which he issued a week ago for the entire state through at least April 7, Lightfoot said she doesn’t want to get ahead of the governor but said it’s realistic that it would “stretch deep into April.”

You have no idea how this pissed me off. I am probably lose my job now.
My sister and I are at our house in IL and in the morning we are heading back to our farm in MO.
At the farm we have spring water and an enormous amount of supplies...plus the home in MO is in the middle of nowhere...but we still have fiber internet at the house :-)
People have been fighting over supplies at the nearby Kroger in IL :-/
Well Groot can issue all the edicts she/he/it wants but when they get the first few sunny, 70 degree days you can forget about it.

We'll see what happens. I finally ventured out of the house today to pick up a Walmart grocery order. I was amazed at the empty parking lots and the sparse traffic. It certainly has a "feel" like this will last past April 7.
Yeah, looks like I upgraded the house to fiber just in the nick of time. Lucky for me, I've also been working out of the house for YEARS.
NJ here. Our local school is out till April 20. Truth be told I think there will be no more in school sessions this school year. They have been good at sending work packets to the kids. Four weeks worth of work.
Grandkids here (Indiana) are doing e-learning on the iPads they use at school anyway. They text me for math tutoring during the day. :-)

Students 5-8 are getting on line instruction. Primary grades have a combination. Mostly work packets with some instruction in maths, and final copies of writing prompts on those who have access to computers.
