He didn’t shut down a task force
He didn’t let it spread unchecked.
Meanwhile, Washington STate, which had a big outbreak, managed to get things under control a month ago, without a big shutdown.
And california, as much as they are reviled, so far seems to have mostly been able to control their outbreak.
There is ONE STATE that failed miserably. That state is New York, and one city that caused most of the trouble, New York CIty, which let the thing run wild, and then sent their people all over the country.
And that city is run by a media darling DeBlasio, and that state is run by the “hero of the democrats”, Andrew Cuomo.
Trump could do almost nothing to stop the spread in the new york subways, or coming through their airports. Each time he banned flights, he was attacked by democrats including Cuomo. Cuomo failed to implement good testing policies. Cuomo allowed New Rochelle to go viral, and then DeBlasio doubled-down by urging all the people in New York to go to work and go out to the theater and concerts.
