I work in a hospital ER in NJ. We have, at last count(Monday of this week) 19 cases. About half a dozen were sent home as ‘’rule out’’, which means basically the common cold but the patients did the smart thing came came in. About ten were hospitalized and three passed away. The most at risk are the very young and the elderly since their immune systems are not strong enough to handle something like this. Keeping kids out of schools is a smart idea. It would also be best to stay away from nursing homes unless the staff tells you your mother or father is terminal(about to die) Hospitals aren't allowing visitors unless the patient is also terminal. I've been told I may have been exposed to this virus and I've been having to have my temperature taken twice a day. So far it's been normal. Trump is right though. The least at risk are the 20 to 55 year olds. they need to be working and getting things done. Much as I hate taxes , debt does have to be paid, the government does need to function and it needs money to do it. Sitting on our butts is not how we're going to win this thing.

Thanks for the report. Just want to add that everything I’ve read said the virus is almost harmless to people under 20. They seem to be by far the safest group. Only 2 or 3 of the deaths worldwide appear to have been people under 20. Between 20-30 there seem to be more hospitalizations but still few deaths. As age goes up above that, the virus continues to get more harmful.
