I read that some testing of the combo was to start in NYC on Tuesday. If it is helpful the results should already be somewhat apparent. The first I read on this said results showed after 12 hours. Ugh. So much crap so little toilet paper.

Yeah, I followed the links and wasn’t super impressed with either the Bahrain or Belgium source articles.
I didn’t see a direct quote from the Bahraini health minister saying the results were “profound”.
The Belgium story is suggestive that they’re foreseeing the possibility of good results from hydrochloroquine — namely it reports the Belgian health authorities are restricting its use to treatment and not prophylaxis in order to maintain inventories for the most critical CV cases. But I don’t see them outright saying they’ve already had success with it.
So, I would tend to take this article with a slight grain of salt.

Another person in the climate science field to check out is Judith Curry, former chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She bucks the establishment for sure. I see her as Galileo-ish.

Yes true, but I’m sure the NY Doctors are compiling SIGNIFICANT data so that some assurances can be extrapolated one way or another. I’d give it a few more days for sure, well unless PDT gets wind and tells the Nation sooner than later if its a success LOL.

It is dangerous to listen to such information if it does not originate from the WHO or CDC (or at least Nancy Pelosi’s office)

Not sure what happened but I was trying to say I am hoping some of the trials will be on people who have symptoms but not requiring hospitalization. This is important if it shows that it prevents things from getting worse. Maybe it won’t help people who have to be ventilated but it might stop the progression to that point.
