Most everyone is focusing on the wrong pharma companies. The top ten that are really big pharma companies are: 1)Pfizer USA 2) Roche Swiss 3) Johnson and Johnson USA 4) Sanofi France 5) Merck USA 6) Novartis Swiss 7) Abbie Vie USA 8) Amgen USA 9) GlaxoSmithKline Great Britain and 10) Bristol-Myers Squibb. Americans should be focusing on USA companies: Pfizer, J&J, Merck, Abbie Vie (biologicals), Amgen (biologicals) and Bristol-Meyers Squibb to start producing the drugs in the USA. They are the ones with the resources to do it.

They leave out that he’s not so stupid as to edict something where we don’t have the current capacity to fulfill our needs - it’s a plan to transition as we gain the capabilities...which will never happen if you don’t signal that is what the plan is...

(Don't howl about illegal leeches, or Trump in general, while not donating to FR - it's hypocritical.)

Diversity and no single source even in the U.S. That’s good strategic health policy, spintreebob.
The factory line for drug products should be highly automated. I guess the big profitability issue is sourcing/transport of the ingredients.
It’s the ingredients where we need protection of supply. The pills themselves can be cranked out by the millions fairly quickly.
Or at least that’s one layman’s perspective.

(Joe Biden has long been the Senate's court jester. He's 24/7 malarkey and more corrupt than Hunter.)

CDC’s socialist manufacturing process broke at the pill cranking step. Don’t over estimate anything. No single point of failure anywhere. Multiple suppliers at every step.
